Natasha had her first taste of karate at the age of five, she did a bit of training with her dad (John De Bono), in his dojo in Crouch End. This is were she did a demonstration for Labour MP Barbara Roche at an open day.

Karate took a back seat between the ages 6-11 years, where she concentrated on her swimming. She did this to gold and life saving award level.

She then realised when she finished swimming that she still had the hunger for karate. She started karate officially in the year 2003, with KUGB, which later changed to JKA.

She is currently a 2nd Dan Black belt. She enjoys competitions especially kumite, and hopes one day to fight for England.
