Luca Valdesi, current World & European Kata Champion was invited to conduct a Kata seminar. Hosted by NLSK Chief Instructor John De Bono (EKF Board Director) this was Luca’s first visit to England and he seemed as excited to be here, as everyone was to actually meet him in person.

Maltese squad as they arrived in the UK. Chief Instructor Chris Galea (5th
Dan) brought along a squad of ten students to compete at the London
International Open 2007, with over 450 contestants taking part. As part of their preparation, a three-hour
training session was organised in North

North London Shotokan was honoured to play host to the Maltese squad as they arrived in the UK. Chief Instructor Chris Galea (5th Dan) and wife Lucienne Galea (4th Dan) brought along a squad of eighteen to compete at the London International Open 2006, with over 600 contestants taking part.
